Senior Retirement Plan Consultant

Tonia McBride is a Senior Retirement Plan Consultant at Definiti, where she maintains the administration of retirement plans and consults with plan sponsors and recordkeepers on a broad range of topics. She has 26 years in the industry helping employers keep their qualified plans in compliance with ERISA and other regulatory mandates. This includes plan design, compliance testing, government reporting and correcting plan errors through governmental correction programs. Because of her degree in accounting and many years of working in a regional CPA firm, all of these services are enhanced by a unique IRS taxation perspective. In addition, Tonia has earned/been awarded the following designations from the American Society of Pension Professionals and Actuaries (ASPPA): Qualified Pension Administrator (QPA); Qualified 401(k) Consultant (QKC); and Qualified 401(k) Administrator (QKA). She also is an Enrolled Retirement Plan Agent (ERPA) with the IRS.

She has a passion for helping others to grow in the industry and enjoys being a mentor when it comes to the intricacies of the retirement plan industry. Haley has 11 years in the industry and specializes in solving complex issues in plan design and compliance testing scenarios. In addition, Haley holds a Qualified 401(k) Administrator (QKA) designation with the American Society of Pension Professionals and Actuaries.

Eric is the creator and primary presenter of MassMutual’s popular Fiduciary Training Program. Since 2014, the Program has helped thousands of retirement plan fiduciaries understand their responsibilities and take action to mitigate risk through improved plan governance. Eric holds FINRA Series 6, 7, 24 and 63 registrations and is a registered principal of MML Distributors, LLC, a MassMutual subsidiary.
