Brooke Cozort, JD CPC
ERISA Attorney

Brooke Cozort, JD CPC is an ERISA Attorney at Definiti, where she provides clients with guidance on plan design considerations, operational compliance, fiduciary responsibilities, legislative and regulatory changes, and industry trends.

Brooke has over 15 years in the industry working with ERISA matters and qualified plans. Prior to starting her law career and joining Definiti, Brooke was a partner and Vice President of Pension Services at Retirement Planning Services, Inc. (a Third-Party Administration firm in Denver); her roles there included retirement plan design, ERISA consultant, and vendor and relationship management with recordkeepers, investment advisors, auditors, and actuaries.

Brooke earned a bachelor’s degree in international business from St. Edwards University, and a Juris Doctor from University of Denver, Sturm College of Law. She is admitted to the bar in Colorado. In addition, Brooke has been a member of the American Society of Pension Professionals and Actuaries (ASPPA) since 2000, obtaining her Certified Pension Consultant (CPC) designation in 2009. She is also a member of Western Pension & Benefits Council – Denver Chapter, and served on ASPPA’s Government Affairs Committee.

Cybersecurity Landscape

Jennifer Pace
Vice President, Cyber Risk Governance

Jennifer Pace is Vice President and head of the Cyber Risk Governance team in Information Security. This team provides for employee security training and awareness, regulatory support, third party risk, client security inquiry and risk assessment.

Jen has been with Lincoln since 2003. Prior to her current role, Jen was Lincoln’s Chief Privacy Officer and counsel for four years. Prior to Jen’s roles in privacy and security she held roles within Lincoln’s business units, including leadership roles in claims, and part of the core team for Lincoln’s Unclaimed Property Initiative.

Jennifer is a graduate of Central Connecticut State University and William S. Boyd School of Law at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. She is a licensed attorney in Connecticut and Nevada.
